Ellen Ochoa Middle School has won AIA Maryland’s Public Building of the Year, the highest design honor in the State of Maryland! Building on a 40-year partnership with Prince George’s County Public Schools, Grimm + Parker designed Ellen Ochoa Middle School as a “School in the Park,” uniting education, community, and nature within Glenridge Park. Through extensive collaboration, the project created a welcoming hub that enriches both students and neighbors while enhancing its natural setting.
