Anthony Lucarelli, AIA
Anthony is the Higher Education practice leader for G+P and brings 27+ years of experience in the planning and design of projects for more than 20 Colleges and Universities in the Mid-Atlantic region. Project types have ranged from broad scope master plans to academic, student services, sports and recreation buildings. As Practice Leader, Anthony is responsible for the overall quality of the G+P Higher Education projects, and for developing and growing the expertise and experience of the Higher Ed Team.
A former public high school art teacher and Assistant Professor of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University, Anthony will ensure that the voice of an educator and the very best practices in design for learning are employed in the implementation of each project. Anthony is part of the national conversation on higher education trends and is an active member of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) and a contributor to the PKAL Learning Spaces Collaboratory – having been an invited speaker at regional and national conferences.
