Unparalleled universal living.

Located on a former hotbed of illicit activity, Justice Park has been transformed into an asset to the District and the Columbia Heights neighborhood. The new development fosters social interaction and creates a sense of community, neighborliness, comfort and safety for its workforce residents.

Catering to the unique needs to the hearing-impaired population, the building follows universal design principles—including open floor plans to accommodate visual communication and signing, a two-way audio-visual entry system, open stairways and tactile materials—that create a visually stimulating environment for its residents.  The project’s multi-level courtyard hides the garage and creates exciting outdoor rooms for residents to enjoy.

Justice Park’s modern aesthetic and the significant amount of green space – in the forms of a community garden, and large secluded inner residential courtyard – provided to the community, promote belonging and ownership and contribute to reestablishing the area’s overall vitality.
