Collegiate architecture meets modern convenience.
Framing the end of a secondary quad at Bowie State University, the Christa McAuliffe Residential Community anchors the campus and serves as home base for 459 students. Named after the BSU alumna killed in the Challenger crash, the residential community provides residents with private lawn areas and public yards linking to the campus. The building’s high ceilings, traditional architecture and picturesque setting enhance the project’s collegiate feel.
A town hall occupies a portion of the ground level, supplementing G+P’s adjacent Student Union. These facilities supply residents and other students with a game room, exercise room, computer labs, a cyber cafe, meeting rooms and a health suite.
The fully furnished mix of two, three and four bedroom suites gives students a variety of living options.
