Meet our new ALEPs!
We’re committed to educational design and better understanding how to be thoughtful leaders in the planning and design of educational facilities.
The Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) is a non-profit organization whose mission is the advancement of the environments in which children learn. A4LEs Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) program follows a long history of providing professional accreditation to education planners that began in the 1980s and has developed over time to serve practitioners who have a deep interest in advancing their profession and the industry.
Melissa Wilfong and Paul Bradshaw, both Principals in Grimm + Parker’s K-12 Studio received ALEP credentials in 2016. Melissa and Paul are two of only 37 industry professionals in the Northeast region to hold this accreditation.
Paul and Melissa achieved their credentials through the Advanced Academy of Learning Spaces, a rigorous 9-month program which builds understanding and skills central to the design and planning of learner-centered schools and is delivered through San Diego State University’s Interwork Institute Center for Distance Learning.
